Dialogo con la storia, reperti che raccontano il passato traspaiono attraverso reperti che raccontano il contemporaneo. Le installazioni trasparenti ed eteree si mescolano ai reperti del Museo Civico Archeologico e Pinacoteca ‘E. Rosa’ di Amelia, creando dialoghi visivi e concettuali. Alessandra_vedova di guerra dell’oggi ‘guarda’, in silente sospensione, il Germanico. I colori aerei e i temi dei Traspaquadri dialogano cromaticamente con le opere contenute nella pinacoteca. Madre Natura_al bazar, porta con se i profumi della natura contrapponendoli al tema forte della guerra urbana che coinvolge i civili. La donna come la natura, tutte e due madri tutte e due oggetto di venerazione e di violenze. L’ISOLA del progetto PTV (PaolaTrashVortex) è posta all’interno di una teca tra i reperti di una storia vissuta come ‘reperto’ ancora da vivere, in progress.

Paola Romoli Venturi è nata a Roma, dove vive e lavora. La sua ricerca artistica è legata al valore della trasparenza come mezzo per comunicare. ‘La trasparenza e la sospensione predispongono il visitatore a “guardare attraverso”, a non distogliere lo sguardo ad osservare le cose per riflettere’ questo il pensiero ispiratore delle sue installazioni esposte in Italia e all’estero. Nel suo lavoro tocca temi sociali, creando spazi disegnati da luci ombre e suoni, utilizzando diversi mezzi espressivi pittorico scultorei, video audio ed installazioni site specific performative. Il materiale utilizzato per realizzare i suoi lavori è la tarlatana (garza). Attualmente sta lavorando al progetto PTV.

A dialogue with history, evidences that tell of the past based on evidences that account for the presence. The transparent and intangible installations blending with evidences of the Museo Civico Archeologico e Pinacoteca “E. Rosa” of Amelia create visual and conceptual dialogues. Alessandra, a widow of war of today “gazes” in silent suspension at the Germanicus. Airy colours and the themes of the “Traspaquadri” (transparent images) are in chromatic dialogue with the works at the picture gallery. Mother Nature al bazaar carries perfumes of nature contrasting them to the strong theme of urban war than co-involves the civilians. The woman like nature, both mothers and objects of veneration and violence. THE ISLAND of the PTV (PaolaTrashVortex) project is placed inside of a showcase among evidence of a story lived as an “evidence” yet to be lived and in progress.

Paola Romoli Venturi was born in Rome where she lives and works. Her artistic research is connected to the value of transparency as a means of communication. “Transparency and suspension predispose the visitor to “look through”, to not look away and to observe things in order to reflect”. This is the idea that inspires her installations displayed in Italy and abroad. In her work she refers to social themes creating spaces designed by light, shadows and tunes for which she uses different means of expression, pictorial sculptural, video, audio and site-specific performance installations. The material used in order to create her works is gauze. At present she is working on the project PVT.
