Comportamenti che tendono a instaurare condizioni di equilibrio / Un tutorial per le cure parentali sulla capacità di adattamento e sopravvivenza / Un’opera multimediale frutto di stratificazione e di sedimentazione tra linguaggi. Un progetto di ricerca fotografica a più tappe e un corpus video artistico in divenire.

E’ in dubbio la sua fertilità. Forse non potrà procreare. Fino ad ora non aveva considerato il problema. Basta che un elemento non funzioni per destabilizzare l’insieme. Supplire l’eventuale assenza di un figlio. Prendersi cura di chi, poiché nato, è destinato a perire. La possibilità di non generare un’altra vita, un altro scheletro. Ossa di vacca, emblema del nutrimento primario: il latte. Incontro tra corpo e ex corpo. L’uno inerte nella sostanza, l’altro inabile rispetto alle sue naturali funzioni preposte, si incontrano, dialogano muti. Un cortocircuito inaspettato provoca lo scarto tra mimesi e realtà. Il rischio è l’opportunità d’essere una macchina celibe. Strategia K rielabora la storia dell’isteria (uno dei più complessi paradigmi del problema mente-corpo), patologia che si credeva un tempo legata a problemi di procreazione, ricollegandosi al “reale” problema di presunta infertilità della performer in scena e creando un’inedita partitura fisica attingendo da fonti extra-teatrali come l’etologia, come l’Iconographie photographique de la Salpêtrière, un serbatoio visionario e ossessivo di spettacolarizzazione del dolore ante-litteram, o ancora come il pensiero di Didi Huberman (soprattutto il suo L’invenzione dell’isteria).La spettacolarizzazione del dolore e del dramma privato, oggi approdata a livelli vertiginosi, ha origini più antiche di quanto si pensi: a fine Ottocento, le presunte isteriche della Salpêtrière venivamo messe letteralmente in scena, fatte esibire davanti a un pubblico di medici, costrette ad avere degli attacchi e premiate con un applauso finale.

A tutorial for parental care on the ability of adaptation and survival.
Live performance project on behaviors that tend to establish and disrupt equilibrium conditions. A woman doubts her fertility. Perhaps she can not procreate. Until now she had not considered the issue. Just that an item does not function to destabilize the whole. Compensate for the possible absence of a child. A project of photographic research in several stages and an artistic video corpus in progress.
There is doubt about her fertility. Perhaps she won‘t be able to procreate. Until recently she had not considered the issue. One dysfunctional element is enough to destabilize the whole. To compensate for the eventual absence of a child. To take care of someone who, hardly born, is doomed to perish. The possibility of not creating another life, another skeleton. Bones of cow, the emblem of basic food: milk. Encounter between body and ex body. One inert in substance and the other, disabled with respect to its natural generic functions, meet in a mute conversation. An unexpected short-circuit provokes the segregation between mimesis and reality. The risk and the opportunity to become a celibate machine. Strategia K re-elaborates the story of hysteria (one of the most complex paradigms of the mind-body problem), a pathology which once was thought to be linked to problems of procreation, being reconnected to the „real“ problem of supposed infertility of the performer on stage and creating an unedited physical score that reverts to non-theatrical sources like ethnology such as the Iconographie photographique de la Salpêtrière, a visionary and obsessive reservoir of sensationalism of pain much ahead of its time, or like the idea of Didi-Huberman (especially his Invention de l’hystérie). The origins of sensationalism surrounding pain and private drama that nowadays has reached a vertiginous level, date much further back than one would assume: At the end of the nineteenth century the so called hysterics of the Salpêtrière were literally put on stage and exposed in front of an audience of physicians and forced to suffer attacks after which being rewarded with a final applause.
